Farm Blog - Welcome December, Evergreen time

Hello,Happy December. The time seems to be flying by and holiday get togeathers and plans afoot. May you find moments of quiet within the busyness of life and consciously choose time and activities that fill you up. Even with the cool, I find a walk in the forest very restorative and balancing. Ever a challenge to take the time, I find it makes a difference to make sure I am filled up so that I can show up better for others. Certainly an experience that ebbs and flows within the realities of life.

Nature heals in so many ways. There's the wonderful physical experience of being in nature but did you know there's many benefits of bringing nature inside, especially evergreens during the winter months.
"The foliage of evergreens contains potent terpenes and medicinal compounds that, when released into the air and inhaled, work actively to strengthen immunity, which is especially helpful in the winter when sickness is prevalent." Check out the link below for article where this quote is from.

Reminder we have beautiful outdoor Evergreen Wreaths and Planters. Check out the pictures. Also options to get bundles of evergreens or dogwood so you can make your own at home.
The wreaths and planters can make a lovely gift that lasts for months to come as well as a great way to decorate your home .

Lots of changes to the produce that's available. Until the greens start flourishing in the greenhouse we only have what's still holding in the cooler.

This is a season and time of change. May your heart be filled with the joy of this season, the appreciation for what is and with hope for how we reimagine our world and community.

Please bring back baskets, containers, egg cartons, even bags!
