Farm Blog - Spring Happenings, Market order form

Hello from the gardens, as we move through the last week of March it feels like it's been a bit of a rollercoaster with the weather and the world. I keep thinking the greenhouse will be growing faster than it has but trying to stay in that space of being "happy with what is". So we do have some delicious baby arugula ready but it will be limited.

Sadly the end of the sauerkraut until the end of the year.

With spring on our doorstep, here's a few things that are germinating!

Seed racks are here, Aimer's Organic Veg & Herb seeds, OSC Flower seeds.
Drop by on Saturday and the seed racks will be out and ready for you.

A new workshop series is open for registration: Spring Growing 101.

A Hands-On Vegetable Gardening Workshop Series
Want to increase your homestead gardening skills?
Discover the essentials of growing your own vegetables with our Growing 101 program!
Join us at the farm for hands-on learning as we explore what plants need to thrive, how to design and plant an organic vegetable garden, and how to navigate common gardening challenges like weather, weeds, pests, and diseases. Through interactive sessions in the greenhouse, barn, and gardens, you'll gain experience with a variety of growing methods and environments.

Our goal is to equip you with the confidence and skills to grow your own fresh produce successfully. This seasonal biweekly gathering provides ongoing guidance, problem-solving opportunities, and a space to share successes while developing practical gardening techniques.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your knowledge, these workshops will support you in becoming a resilient home gardener and community cultivator.
