Farm Blog - October fall time

Hello, What a difference a week makes. Most of the flowers are done, frost tender outside plants are ready for the compost but the Kale is so much sweeter!

Looking at all these sweet amazing peppers, the delicious tomatoes and soothing squash it's time to put away what we can and my joy is in sharing it all with you.

This week is the last of the ground cherries, possibly zucchini and there's no green cabbage available but there is red. Tomatoes will be slowly finishing up but there's a good supply of beautiful slicing tomatoes, some 2nds and lovely cherry tomatoes.

A season and time of change. May your heart be filled with the joy of this season, the appreciation for what is and with hope for how we reimagine our world and community.

Please bring back baskets, containers, egg cartons, even bags!

What's happening at the farm:

Four of Mimo's kittens have moved in with their new people, two are staying here with Mimo and Plato.

The goats are heading back to their flock so they're cosy on these cool nights.
