Farm Blog - More and More from the gardens & Yummy fruit!

Hello from the gardens, despite the lack of rain and the super hot temperatures we are starting to have more producing from the gardens. New this week we have crunchy green Cabbage, lovely large Jalapeno peppers, English cucumbers and Field cucumbers. Finally a good supply of curly Parsley, summer Savoury and my favourite tea herb, Lemon Verbena.

Next week we will add sweet Baby Bell peppers and we're just waiting for the tomatoes to ripen up. Ground cherries are just starting to ripen but are probably a couple of weeks away. There's also our favourite Fairy melon (smaller yellow watermelon) that look like they will be ready soon.

We have been starting cool season transplants and looking forward to having them for sale towards the end of the month.

We've harvested, cured and cleaned up lots of beautiful garlic. We grow Music garlic which has large, flavour full cloves with just a little bite.
Next week we will have seed garlic packaged up and available!

Please bring back baskets, containers, egg cartons, even bags!

For delicious Niagara spray free fruit, we have:
Silver Gem Nectarines (flavour full white fleshed), a sweet peach called Harson (free stone), fresh Apricots, Early Yellow plums and the sweet Orzark Red plum.

If you are interested in larger quantities, please reach out to me, mogfarm@gmail.com.
