Happy June, the trees are fully dressed with their vibrant leaves, the barn swallows are back, the bugs are out it must be June. Let's soak it up before it's gone in the blink of an eye....... there's just so much to do. =)
The greens in the greenhouse are now being pulled and become chicken food or part of the compost pile. Hey, do you know what an egg is made from, is one egg better than another? An egg is made from the food that a hen eats. So I love when they are back on the greens and summer garden goodness.
Anyway pulling the greens out of the greenhouse is key so we can get the summer heat loving crops planted in there. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, hot peppers, beans, some eggplant and herbs. Oh time to start dreaming of fresh picked tomatoes.
Great time to get your plants and seeds for growing an abundance of food for the summer and winter ahead.
