Hello from the gardens, With the rollercoaster of weather we've been through it's the opportunity to accept what is. That being said it looks like June will be much more settled with some more consistent seasonal temperatures. Well we can hope!
There's nothing it's too late to plant at this point, so we're going to be busy here getting tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers into the ground. Many of the other crops will get their first planting and then we will plant again.
If you lost some of your first plantings of the warm season plants, time to plant again. For cucumbers, zucchini, squash consider planting by seed now. The plants will be much hardier by seed and still have lots of time to grow.
We still have a good selection of seedling plants but supply is getting low, this is a great week to come out and pick up what you need!
Volunteer Opportunity at Wiidookdaadiwin Lookout Point: What to come and help out at an amazing space?
Sunday June 8th, 1-3pm we'll be sorting out some of the plantings, adding some woodchips and cleaning up. Love to hear from you to share more.

This week: Red Frilly Kale and lots of Rhubarb
There's, asparagus, salad greens (sweet or spicy), miners lettuce, fresh herbs, and farm fresh eggs.
This will be the last week for our greens from the greenhouse as we transition from cool season crops to the hot crops for the rest of the summer. The lettuces and greens will take a few weeks outside till they are ready again.
We are not planning to open the Market Stand this season for a number of reasons. Our plan is to transition to a more interactive approach where we will not only offer online ordering but also facilitated U-Pick opportunities starting in July. Stay tuned!
We will continue offering the weekly order form option as the way to what's available from the greenhouse, and of course the hens. Thank You for supporting small scale growing and community.

Wishing you calm days, with hope and love in your heart.
