Farm Blog - Happy Easter and sunny days ahead

Hello from the gardens, Super excited to finally see wild leeks (ramps) ready to harvest next week. So many delicious wild edibles are emerging this time of the year. .
The majority of foods that grow in the spring are highly nutrient dense and so many are great for detoxifying after a long winter.

This is the time to look for some young dandelion leaves and it's usually easy to find some garlic mustard. In the greenhouse we also have chickweed and creeping charlie. Ironic to me that we classify these easy growing plants as weeds when they are more nutrient dense than what you can find in the store.

I'm looking forward to offering some foraging activities starting in the next couple of weeks!
