Farm Blog - Happy Earth day, market Order form

Happy April, what a difference a week makes. The grass is that luminescent green, the trees are starting to show colour and more flowers are popping up. Yeah!
What a Happy Earth day.

Next week we'll have bags of fresh greens available, arrugula, salad mix and maybe even spinach. Can't wait.

For this week we have items for your gardening activities available to order,
the big bales of potting soil, smaller bags of garden soil and the amazing organic weed free compost we bag.

We even have seedlings available in 4 cell packs ( all the above on the Market order form)

Great crops to plant now, spinach, peas, arugula, radishes, mustards, lettuces.

May you find time to rest outside and soak up the sounds, smells and change in the air.

Here's a few updates on happenings at the farm:

Rewilding Education is also getting ready for spring and it's a great time to check out and sign up for awesome child and family based programs for the season ahead. Check out www.rewildingeducation.ca

Sauerkraut is available on the order form. It's raw, fermented and red. Amazing how a few red cabbages colours all the cabbages, carrots and onions to this deep red. It also tastes a little different this year as the salt used is super high in many minerals, called Sacred Salts naturescargocanada.ca/product-category/sacred-salts

Raw Local Honey from Singh With the Bees
We have a small batch of raw, unpasteurized honey available from Singh With Bees, produced at Nirvana Natura Farms in Angus. It is harvested in small quantities, very lightly strained, and never overheated. www.singhwithbees.ca
