Hello from the steamy farm. This season continues to surprise and challenge. It feels like a Florida summer but as always so happy and proud to call Canada home.
We've been busy not only with the gardens but also with putting a new cover on the greenhouse with some sweet roll up sides. Welcoming a flock of baby turkeys, moving the goats out to a larger and cooler pasture and the first week of our CSA baskets. Whew!
Wed. July 1st, Happy Canada Day! We are thrilled to have 4M Farms www.4mfarms.ca here for an extended time from 1-5pm up by the green house. If you're looking for some exceptional meat for the bbq, this is your chance!
Paddy, will have a table set up with her Eco Pantry products like waxy wraps, reuseable produce bags and my favourite Judes Miracle Cloth.
Also availalbe through the online market is some awesome items to make pesto, garlic scapes have arrived and or favourite lambsquarters, check out the link below for a great pesto recipe.
