Farm Blog - Happy all Hallows Eve, Produce sale

Hello, The end of the month is on our doorstep and it feels like the end of the beautiful long fall. The days are feeling short and the frosty night convincing that the white stuff is in our near future. As much as I love the fall there is a sense of quiet and calm that I feel looking out and seeing the gardens and forest covered with snow. Although we have another month full of work to get everything cleaned up, put away, winterized so I hope for a lovely crisp sunny November. Every hopeful!

With the cool weather it's always sad to see the end of lots of crops. The market order form is changing every week as we run out of this years harvest. There's always some crops that hold well and we're happy to have lots to share.

We have an abundance of Sweet Peppers and Cherry Tomatoes and Winter Squash. Each of these is $1 off per package size and noted on the order form.
The peppers can be enjoyed during the winter by cutting up and freezing. The cherry tomatoes are stunning when roasted like a sundried tomato. The winter squash hold for a month or two!

A season and time of change. May your heart be filled with the joy of this season, the appreciation for what is and with hope for how we reimagine our world and community.

Please bring back baskets, containers, egg cartons, even bags!
