Farm Blog - Finally February, eggs, potatoes, honey

Happy February, it's felt like a long winter already but here comes February. May there be less shovelling and lots more sunshine.
Tom and I had a very restorative and relaxing time away in Cuba. It had been a long time since just the two of us have gotten away. A good reminder how important it is to schedule away time and step out of the day to day fullness of life.

I'm looking forward to finalizing plans for the spring and summer ahead. Dreaming of growth, connection and creating a community that benefits all.

The hens haven't been happy with the dramatic cold but are still laying lots of delicious eggs.
Check out the Order Form if you would like to see what's available this week. Thanks.
With the later message you can order up to late Friday this week.

Lots of Russet potatoes, smaller size means tasty roasted, fried or country mash.

Raw Local Honey from Singh With the Bees
We have a small batch of raw, unpasteurized honey available from Singh With Bees, produced at Nirvana Natura Farms in Angus. It is harvested in small quantities, very lightly strained, and never overheated. www.singhwithbees.ca
