Farm Blog - End of August, Long Weekend

Hello from the gardens,
How the months do fly by. This time of year is interesting with lots of harvesting, weeding and the last of the plantings. Then there's mornings like this one when you wonder if frost is on the horizon. I am certainly hopeful that we have at least another month till we need to seriously worry about frost.

Even so we have started putting some row cover over crops that don't like these cool nights. Peppers are super sensitive to temperatures below 10C. So lots of successes and failures this season. Ever the opportunity to accept and appreciate what is.
