Hello from the gardens, Hard to believe we are at the last full week of April, but what a month it has been. Looking forward to the more mild and sunny days of May.... well I hope.
So excited to start harvesting some Wild Leek leaves, in a few weeks we'll harvest some of the bulbs as well but they're still sizing up for the next few weeks.
Wild leeks are low in calories but high in nutrients, particularly magnesium and vitamins A, C, and K.
I'm looking forward to offering some foraging activities starting in the next couple of weeks!
