Growing 101 Tues. March 26th, April 23rd, May 21st, June 11th. from planning to harvesting. 6:30-8:30pm
Come learn through the spring season how to grow your own garden. We meet once a month and have time to go from planning to planting and the fun of harvesting. The best way to have your own professional farmer at hand. $110 or $75 (CSA & Farm Club members)

Community Good Food Initiative we are collaborating with the Utopia Hall to get more good food out to our community and support a great local fundraising activity to restore the Utopia Gristmill. A group of volunteers will be growing food here at the farm, harvesting it each week (July - Sept.) then a group of volunteers at the hall will prepare soups and salads which will be available for sale. If you are interested in helping out with this please let me know. Garden volunteers come to Growing 101 classes for free! More info to follow.

Summer Jobs We are looking for some enthusiastic, hardy individuals to help us on the farm this season. We have two positions:
MARKET GARDEN GROWER: Duties will include: planting, weeding, harvesting, packaging, a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers for sale. Interested persons will be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and enjoy contributing with a team of staff and volunteers. Hours will be 30-40 per week. Gardening experience would be an asset.

MARKET GARDEN COMMUNICATIONS & SALES: Duties will include: promoting Moondance and our various activities through our website and social media. Help in our Market Stand as well as coordinate a number of farm activities throughout the season. Hours will be 30-40 hours per week. Marketing and sales experience would be an asset.

Due to the funding assistance we get, candidates need to be under 30yrs old and a Canadian citizen.
